As discussed here, the Third Circuit previously published proposed disciplinary rules for comment. Having received a number of comments, the Third Circuit has now issued revised proposed rules, which are available here, for public comment. The revised proposed rules are accompanied by a memorandum that discusses the changes that the revised rules contain as compared with the originally proposed version. Most of the substantive changes to the proposed rules involve Rule 17, which relates to inactive status. The public comment period for these revised proposed rules closes on June 1, 2015.
