This month’s issue of New Jersey Lawyer magazine, coming soon to regular mailboxes of members of the New Jersey State Bar Association and already available to those members here, contains an article by Judge Gary K. Wolinetz and me about civil jury trials under the New Jersey Constitution. That article, and the entire issue, which celebrates the 75th anniversary of the current New Jersey Constitution, is well worth reading.
Leading off that issue of the magazine, however, is an article by Chief Justice Rabner titled “Tips on Appellate Advocacy.” That article is available at the same link noted above. In it, the Chief Justice focuses on oral argument before the Supreme Court, though many of his tips apply equally to the Appellate Division, the Third Circuit, or any other appellate court. For appellate practitioners and those interested in the appellate process, Chief Justice Rabner’s article is especially valuable. Check it out.
